SwimKids Swim School is excited to announce that we have a part time Processing & Data Entry position in our Woodbridge location!

SwimKids Swim School would love to invite you to apply to join our FUN and DYNAMIC TEAM at this exciting time of growth and expansion! We are looking for reliable, responsible team players, with a happy, positive energy, growth mindset and an eye for detail. In this support position, you will need to be a focused problem solver and have excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Previous coaching experience or a swimming background is not necessary – we will teach you everything you need to know in order to thrive and be a successful member of our SwimKids team! We are known for our award winning swim programs and have been voted a Top Place to Work by the Washington Post.

Available Shifts Include:

Sun, Mon, Tues, Wed, Thurs, and/or Fri:
8:30 AM – 12:30 PM
12:30 PM – 4:30 PM
4:30 PM – 8:30 PM

Sat:
8:30 AM – 1:30 PM
12:30 – 6:00 PM

Higher priority for candidates who are able to work evening and weekend shifts!

Qualifications & Requirements:

  1. Exceptional eye for detail
  2. Strong sense of follow-through on tasks
  3. Possess typing skills and experience with computer programs such as Google Drive and Microsoft Excel
  4. Ability to follow detailed instructions and multi-step processes
  5. Enjoy working with and assisting others with their needs and concerns
  6. Willing and eager to be coached by teammates and managers
  7. Positive and happy attitude
  8. Team player who is dependable and reliable
  9. Minimum Age of 16
  10. Complete 40 hours of training
  11. Embrace and commit to the SwimKids Core Focus and Values

Responsibilities:

  • Be a problem solver with a strong drive to “get it right”
  • Assist customers with challenges they are experiencing via email
  • Process customer requests, registrations, makeup lessons, etc. with precision to minimize errors
  • Prioritize importance of tasks quickly and efficiently
  • Complete required trainings and be a continual learner
  • Deliver excellent customer service to all that utilize our facility

We’re committed to doing everything we can to maintain a safe and healthy workplace. Our water exceeds all health requirements with our inline ultraviolet (UV) system in addition to maintaining proper chemical balance. We are reducing our capacity in accordance with local and state guidelines and our facilities are set up for proper social distancing. We’ve established protective protection standards for all of our staff, such as face shields and/or protective masks. In addition, we practice staff wellness questioning before each and every shift and are exercising frequent hand-washing. Our facilities have been deep cleaned. The organization has invested in nightly professional cleaning and we’ve introduced and established new hard surface cleaning practices.

We are relying heavily on CDC and local health department information in establishing safe working conditions and will continue to make our best efforts to keep the workplace safe.
